Karen Roses group most valued asset are its employees. The current permanent staff members stand at well over 1200 who all play a crucial part in the chain. We therefore strive to provide the employees with the basics such as medical care, pension scheme (for the management staff), canteen facilities, staff bus, baby crècheand kindergarten facilities etc.

We have established a more flexible and caring management style where staff are motivated, developed and managed in a way that employees can give their best to help achieve departmental objectives and enhance productivity. To achieve this, the company has engaged in an open performance management system that calls for individual objectives tied to departmental objectives, regular coaching and developing of staff on the job for every skill and levels of employees.

We enhance staff competencies through effective training, continuous improvement process where once a quarter the whole company meets to review the performance of the last quarter, reward and recognize outstanding performers and get/give feedback and communicate expectations for the next quarter. Through its continuous employee process Karen Roses group has developed a service culture in addition to business process re-engineering and work streamlining to deliver quality service .
